MHSc (Candidate), BSc., CSEP-CPT

Emily is a translational researcher, podcast host and mental health advocate whose purpose is to help individuals understand the complexities of human health and well-being.

Emily first began her business after struggling with a number of personal health issues which led her to be a voice for those in a similar position. After years of battling and redefining who she was after her athletic career and personal struggles, Emily strives to be her true authentic self and wants to encourage others to do the same.

Balanced factor is a brand that aims to provide clarity, knowledge and motivation to inspire individuals to achieve their version of a balanced lifestyle. Through weekly social media posts, podcast episodes and educational content, it is Emily’s goal to help bridge the gap in knowledge translation to better their health and well-being.
